Hi, I'm Max.

I’m a fifth-generation winemaker from Saulheim in Rheinhessen and the person behind Dexheimer.
Growing up in the family winery, Walldorf-Pfaffenhof, I learned early that great wines begin in the vineyard. Today, Dexheimer is my own expression of that heritage – focused on vibrant, low-intervention wines that reflect the character of our limestone-rich soils and each individual vintage.
The wines are fermented naturally, handled with patience and bottled with as little intervention as possible. My goal is not to create a style, but to capture a place and a moment in time.
Every bottle tells the story of the vineyard, the vintage and the people behind it.
